Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will embark on a tour to Pakistan and Uzbekistan on Nov. 16-18, in a bid to enhance Ankara's bilateral relations with the two countries, his press office has announced.

Pakistan's parliament has approved amendments to an anti-money laundering law to make it more effective in targeting the financing of extremists and bring it into line with global standards, officials said on Nov. 26.

Pakistan's parliament voted on April 10 to stay out of the conflict in Yemen, rejecting Saudi demands for Islamabad to join its military coalition against Shiite Houthi rebels, while international organizations and Turkey have called for a "humanitarian cease-fire."
