Gaza reels under Israeli strikes as attacks enters second week
The death toll from the ongoing Israeli attacks on the besieged Gaza Strip has risen to 212, the Palestinian Health Ministry said on May 17.
The grim figure includes 61 children, 35 women and 16 elderly people, the ministry said in a statement, while 1,400 people have been injured during the offensive.

Israeli warplanes resume strikes on Gaza Strip
Israeli warplanes on May 12 launched violent attacks on the security centers and police headquarters of Palestinian resistance groups in the Gaza Strip.
Dozens of bombs were dropped within a few minutes in the south, north, and central parts of the Gaza Strip, Turkey's state-run Anadolu Agency reported.

Israeli forces kill Palestinian along Gaza border
The Palestinian Health Ministry said Israeli forces shot dead a Palestinian in the northern Gaza Strip on Nov. 23, the first such fatality since a 50-day Gaza war ended in August. The Israeli military had no immediate comment.
The ministry identified the man as Fadel Mohammed Halawa, 32, and said he was shot by soldiers east of Jabalya refugee camp.
