Sinwar is a central figure in Hamas and is considered one of the masterminds behind the deadly attack by the terrorist organization on Israel on October 7, 2023. If confirmed, news of his death is expected to have significant implications for developments in the region.

Israeli airstrikes targeted the Ras el-Nabaa neighborhood in central Beirut, Lebanon, resulting in at least 22 fatalities and 117 injuries, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health, as reported by Al Jazeera. The strikes, which took place at midnight on Thursday without prior warning, hit two residential buildings. One of these buildings housed numerous displaced people.

France, Germany, and the United Kingdom stated today that “there can be no further delay” in conducting negotiations for a ceasefire in Gaza, warning “Iran and its allies” against any “new escalation” of the conflict.

An Israeli airstrike on a school in Gaza City, which the Israeli military claimed was a “command center” for Hamas “terrorists,” resulted in nearly one hundred deaths and sparked intense reactions worldwide.

Last night, the Israeli military asserted that the strike eliminated “at least 19 Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorists,” releasing a list of names.

Israeli military operations against Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad militants in Gaza City's Shifa Hospital and Khan Yunis continued, according to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). Intelligence indicated that senior Hamas members were using the hospital to plan attacks, prompting Israel's return to the compound on March 18.

Israeli soldiers in Gaza discovered a tunnel shaft located inside a school, the Israel Defense Forces said on Wednesday.

The tunnel was discovered by the 5th Brigade's combat team in the southern Gaza area of Khirbet Ahza. The forces also found photos of weapons geared for children. A photo released by the IDF showed various mortars, grenades and bullets inside the school.

According to reports, it was a long-term plan of deception, and Hamas was providing Israeli services with intelligence about Islamic Jihad, another terrorist organization in Gaza.
As the "Times of Israel" reports, the cooperation allegedly arose during the May operation "Guardian of the Walls", that is, the conflict between Israel and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad.

According to sources familiar with Hezbollah's arsenal, the leader of that militant group, Sayed Hassan Nasrallah, warned Washington last week that his group was preparing something for U.S. ships deployed in the region.

Israel and Palestinian Islamic Jihad fighters in the Gaza Strip agreed to a ceasefire from 10 p.m. on Saturday to end the deadly fighting, the BBC reported, citing Palestinian sources.

The truce was reached in negotiations brokered by Egypt. Israel and Islamic Jihad have yet to comment.

At least 12 people were killed in the latest air raids on Gaza Strip by Israel's military on Tuesday, Al Jazeera reported, adding that 20 others sustained injuries in an operation conducted early morning.
