Poland prohibits food imports from Ukraine to soothe farmers
Poland's government said Saturday that it has decided to temporarily prohibit grain and other food imports from Ukraine as it seeks to soothe the rising anger of Polish farmers, who say they are losing huge amounts of money to a glut of Ukrainian grain on the market.

Poland calls EU migrant relocation plan faulty
Poland's government argues that it refused to follow the European Union's migrant relocation plan because the scheme was faulty and raised security concerns.
Government spokesman Piotr Muller was reacting Thursday to an opinion by a top EU legal adviser who said that Poland, the Czech Republic and Hungary have been breaking EU law by refusing to accept migrants under a 2015 plan.

Serbia Claims EU 'Hypocrisy' Over Catalan Vote
Serbia's president says the European Union has shown "double standards and hypocrisy" in rejecting the Catalan referendum but not the independence of ex-Serbian province of Kosovo.
Aleksandar Vucic said Monday his government supports the territorial integrity of Spain, one of five EU member nations that have not recognized Kosovo.
