Syros: Explosion on a tanker

An explosion occurred yesterday, Tuesday, August 20, in the boiler of a tanker flying a Liberian flag, which was within the premises of the Syros Nerio Shipyard for maintenance and repair work.

More specifically, on Tuesday afternoon, the Syros Port Authority was informed of an explosion in the tanker’s boiler.
