Ukraine Will Not Prosecute Activists in Luhansk, Donetsk
Ukrainian interim President Oleksandr Turchynov has said Kiev will grant amnesty to to pro-Russian activist in two eastern cities if they choose to hand over their weapons.
Turchynov has vowed to sign a presidential order to free them of future charges if they leave the buildings they have taken over.
Ukraine's Navy Chief Detained in Sevastopol
Pro-Russian activists detained Wednesday Ukraine's Navy Chief Serhiy Hayduk, short after taking control of the navy's HQ.
Russian website Lenta.ru, citing Kriminform news agency, explains that Hayduk had ordered "the use of weapons against civilians".
Ukraine's army has not confirmed that he issued such an instruction.
