Mucilage may kill Black Sea: Expert
The massive marine mucilage bloom that has been killing the undersea life of the Maramara Sea might also bring the end of the Black Sea, an expert warned while briefing the Turkish Parliament Global Climate Change Research Commission on June 3.

Sexual, physical violence against disabled people on the rise in Turkey: Report
Sexual and physical violence against people with disabilities have been on the rise since 2013 in Turkey, according to a report by the Social Rights and Research Association (TOHAD).
TOHAD based its findings in its report from 2012 to 2016 on a total of around 285,000 news articles and court decisions from around the country.
History of Turkish coffee on display
Istanbul's Topkap? Palace Museum is hosting a new exhibition, featuring the 500-year history of Turkish coffee. Organized in collaboration with the Turkish Coffee Culture and Research Association, the exhibition, titled "A Drop of Pleasure: 500 years of Turkish Coffee" opened on Feb. 17 at the museum's Has Ah?rlar section with the attendance of Culture and Tourism Minister Ömer Çelik.
