Vehicles' Harmful Emissions To Be Measured in Sofia on October 7
As of 10:00 hrs on October 7, an operation will be launched for measuring harmful emissions from exhaust gasses of vehicles in Sofia.
The initiative is organised by the Diabetes Type 2 Association and the Climate Coalition - Bulgaria.
Accident Blocks Trakia Highway
An accident has blocked the Trakia highway on the way to Plovdiv about 20 kilometres from Sofia.
The Road Police is on site and, so far, there are no reports of dead or injured people.
The accident caused a 10-km queue of vehicles.
There are thousands of vehicles moving at 20-30 km/h on the Hemus highway. The queue before the Vitinya tunnel is about 2-km long.

Fourteen People Injured as Two Trams Collide in Sofia
Fourteen people were injured as two trams collided in the Bulgarian capital on Monday.
The incident occurred in the area of the junction at Slivnitsa and Hristo Botev boulevards.
Seven of the injured were transpored to hospital, while the other people affected in the collision were provided with medical aid on the spot.
President's daughter hospitalized after car accident
Elena Basescu, the youngest daughter of President Traian Basescu, was hospitalized on Tuesday afternoon at the University Hospital of Bucharest following a car accident in Charles de Gaulle Square.
Road Police officials told AGERPRES that another driver failed to give priority, and crashed their car into Elena Basescu's.
