Iohannis: While holding EU Council Presidency, Romania will explore ways to bring India, EU closer
At a joint news conference with visiting India's Vice-President Venkaiah M. Naidu at the Cotroceni Presidential Palace on Wednesday, President Klaus Iohannis said that while holding the presidency of the Council of the Union European Union Romania will explore avenues to bring India and the European Union closer together.

India's Vice President Venkaiah M. Naidu was welcomed by President Klaus Iohannis in the Hall of Honour of the Cotroceni Presidential Palace on Wednesday.
The meeting of the two officials was followed by one-on-one talks, as well as a joint news conference.

Bulgaria's Parliament Speaker, MPs to Visit Romania June 8-9
Bulgaria's Parliament Chair Tsetska Tsacheva and a delegation of MPs will pay an official visit to Romania on June 8-9, 2015.
On June 8 Tsacheva will meet with Valeriu Zgonea, Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies of the Romanian Parliament, according to the press office of Bulgaria's government.
The meeting will also be attended by Romania's Prime Minister Victor Ponta.
