Russian Helicopter with 22 On Board Missing in Kamchatka

A Russian helicopter with 22 people on board, including three crew members, has gone missing in the Kamchatka Peninsula in the far east of the country, state media reported on Saturday. The Mi-8T helicopter, operated by Vityaz-Aero airline, had taken off from a site near the Vachkazhets volcano, heading to the village of Nikolaevka, located 25 kilometers away.

On September 23, two Elbrus climbers were reported to be in intensive care, according to the regional ministry of health on Friday.

"Yesterday, 11 victims were transported to the Republican Clinical Hospital by the disaster medicine brigade; two of them, including a guide from Karachay-Cherkessia and a tourist from St. Petersburg," the agency's interlocutor said.

Six dead in plane crash in Russia

Six people died when a Let L-410 Turbolet twin-engine short-range passenger plane crashed while performing a landing in Russia’s Far Eastern Khabarovsk Territory, the operation headquarters told TASS.
“Six people died and a child survived,” a spokesman said.
The plane was carrying two pilots and five passengers.

Russian ship sailing to Turkey sinks in Black Sea

A Russian ship sank on its way to Turkey in the Black Sea on April 19, as five people have been rescued and seven are missing, Doğan News Agency has reported.

"On April 19, the Heroes of Arsenal ship sank in the Black Sea," the Crimea department of the Russian Emergencies Ministry said in a statement.

According to Crimean rescuers, the vessel had 12 crew members on board.

State of Emergency Declared in Siberia Over Floods

State of emergency has been issued in the Republic of Altai and Khakassia over floods caused by torrential rains in the past four days.

Rescue teams of the Russian Emergencies Ministry and local authorities have organized evacuation of the population from flooded houses with 119 people taken to temporary shelters and 406 relocated, Itar-Tass reports.
