Serbia needs unity, Vucic says after meeting with BIA officials
BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Sunday he had met with Security Information Agency (BIA) officials to discuss an announcement the US and some other countries would impose sanctions on Serbia's majority Russian-owned oil company NIS.

Serbian government appoints Orlic BIA director
BELGRADE - The Serbian government decided on Thursday to appoint Vladimir Orlic director of the Security Information Agency (BIA).
Orlic's appointment was approved by the National Security Council on Wednesday at a session chaired by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.

National Security Council OKs Orlic's appointment as BIA chief
BELGRADE - At a session chaired by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, the National Security Council on Wednesday approved the appointment of Vladimir Orlic as new Security Information Agency (BIA) director.
The decision was made in line with the Law on the Foundations of Regulation of the Security Services of the Republic of Serbia.

BELGRADE- Former Interior Ministry official Tomislav Radovanovic has been named acting director of the Security Information Agency, sources in Serbia's security agencies have told Tanjug.
Radovanovic, who has previously served as head of the Criminal Police Directorate's Special Investigation Methods Service, joined the Security Information Agency in early 2023.
