Two Turkish soldiers have been killed in operations against outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) militants in the Lice district of the southeastern province of Diyarbakır, security sources said March 19, state-run Anadolu Agency has reported.      

Two children were wounded due to the explosion of a hand-made and pipe-type bomb in the southeastern province of Diyarbakır on Dec. 4, state-run Anadolu Agency has reported.

The explosion occurred after a 13-year-old and an 11-year-old played with an object they found on the street in the İskenderpaşa neighborhood of Diyarbakır's central Sur district.
