Twitter Axes Thousands of Accounts ‘Promoting Serbia’s Ruling Party’
Twitter has removed almost 9,000 accounts that were "working to promote Serbia's ruling party", the Serbian Progressive Party, it said on Thursday.
"Toward the end of last year, we identified clusters of accounts engaged in inauthentic coordinated activity which led to the removal of 8,558 accounts working to promote Serbia's ruling party and its leader," Twitter announced.

He was the founder of the Serbian Progressive Party and a member of the Presidency.
He graduated from the Belgrade University School of Medicine and was a specialist in general surgery.

Secretary General of the League of Social Democrats of Vojvodina (LSV) Bojan Kostres said that taking part in the polls was the only way to oppose the current government.
According to this statement, Kostres said that "the boycott of the elections is reducing the number of turnout and, therefore, enabling a greater number of MPs to the Serbian Progressive Party".

"I will bite as a pit bull, so that the Jovanjica affair is not forgotten"
He added that he expected the truth to be told about the case.
"I will not forget the lies about Jovanjica. As a pit bull, I will bite until the last day, so that people see that the lie does not pay off after all. It also does not occur to me to protect anyone in case there are real affairs", Serbian President emphasized.
Vucic made a decision not to travel to Zagreb, he enclosed a letter with rationale
President Vucic was invited to the EPP Congress as the leader of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS).
According to Blic, Vucic sent a letter to EPP President, Joseph Daul, containing rationale for his decision.

Journalists Chief Victims of Digital Rights Violations in Serbia
Out of a total of 481 registered cases of digital rights violations, 115 involved threats and endangering security. There were 95 cases of insults and unfounded accusations.
The report noted there had been more arrests of late of people accused of threatening online space, but few have been sentenced while those who were received relatively mild punishments.
