5000 instead of 1000 BGN Bail for Far-Right Nationalist Boyan Rasate
The Sofia Court of Appeals has increased the bail of presidential candidate Boyan Rasate from 1,000 to 5,000 leva.
On Friday, Rasate was released on BGN 1,000 bail after he was charged with two counts of hooliganism and minor bodily harm.

Defendants in Vratsa Murder Case Released on Bail
The Sofia Court of Appeals has decided to release on bail two brothers who beat to death 18-year-old Todor Yordanov in broad daylight in the northwestern town of Vratsa.
Ivan Damyanov, 32, and his brother Desislav Damyanov, 36, have to pay BGN 2000 (EUR 1000) each. Earlier in January they were placed under house arrest.

Court Dismisses Bulgaria C-Bank Deputy Governor
The Sofia City Court has ruled that Tsvetan Gounev, a Deputy Governor at the Bulgarian National Bank (BNB), is to vacate the office.
Gounev was charged with abuse of office in mid-June, days before the crisis at Corporate Commercial Bank (KTB) began.
In September both the Sofia City Court and the Sofia Court of Appeals rejected a request that he be dismissed.
