Contrera from VMRO Offers Introduction of a System for Using Electric Scooters in Sofia
The Municipal Councilor of VMRO in Sofia Municipality, Carlos Contrera, submitted a report suggesting that the Sofia Municipality should create a municipal system for the use of electric scooters in the capital.
Free Parking in Sofia Centre for the Next 3 Days
For the next three days people can park for free in Sofia City Center. Sofia Urban Mobility Centre notes that for the citizens of Sofia and the guests of the city it is useful to know that in the festive 24th and 25th May the blue and green parking zone won't work.
As a rule on Sunday - May 26th, the parking zones are free.

Sofia Deputy Mayor, Bulgarian MP Resign Over Public Tender Scandal
Lyubomir Hristov, the deputy mayor of the Bulgarian capital responsible for transport, has submitted his resignation to Sofia mayor Yordanka Fandakova.
Irina Kotseva, MP from the ruling GERB party, is also to submit her resignation, the chairperson of the party's parliamentary group Tsvetan Tsvetanov is quoted as saying by daily Sega.
Tickets for Public Transport in Sofia to Cost BGN 1.6 from June 1
Tickets for public transport in the Bulgarian capital will cost BGN 1.6 starting from June 1.
At its regular meeting on Thursday, the Sofia municipal council approved the increase in the price of a single ticket from BGN 1 to BGN 1.6.
Out of the 61-member council, 34 councilors voted in favour, eighteen were against, while six abstained.
Sofia Municipality Tentatively Approves 60 % Increase in Public Transport Fare
The transport committee of Sofia municipality approved on Monday a proposed 60 % increase in the price of public transport tickets.
Six councilors voted in favour of the increase, two were opposed, two abstained and one was absent.
All six municipal councilors supporting the increase are from the largest ruling party GERB.
