Basque group ETA says dismantles its military wing
Armed Basque separatist group ETA has dismantled its military wing and set up a group to finalise the deactivation of any remaining weapons and explosives, according to an ETA statement in a Basque newspaper on July 20.

Bulgarian Among Arrested Jihadist Recruiters in Spain – Report
A Bulgarian citizen is among the 10 men arrested on Monday in Spain for allegedly recruiting juhadist fighters for Iraq and Syria, reports AP.
Eight of the arrested are Moroccan, one is Bulgarian and one – Argentinian. Their names are not divulged by the authorities.
Spain's Leon Government Head Shot Dead in Broad Daylight
Isabel Carrasco, the head of local government in Spain's province of Leon, was shot dead in the regional capital with the same name.
The incident happened just after 5:00 PM, in broad daylight, according to Spain's daily El Pais.
Carrasco was walking to the Popular Party headquarters in Leon when a woman, later detained, fired at her in the street.
