Voters who reside abroad have until March 11 to register

Serbian citizens living abroad eligible to vote in the April 2 presidential election have until March 11 to file their request to be included in the voter roll.

This request, to be submitted to Serbia's diplomatic and consular representative offices, specifies that they intend to cast their ballots in one of the polling stations abroad.

Kosovo Intelligence Chief's Indictment Suddenly Withdrawn

BIRN has learned that an indictment for misuse of office against Driton Gashi was withdrawn only days before he was appointed to head the intelligence agency by President Hashim Thaci and Prime Minister Isa Mustafa on Wednesday .

On February 3, the Pristina Basic Court dismissed an indictment filed in May 2016 against Gashi, then the General Secretary at the Interior Ministry.

Bulgaria's New Cabinet to Hold First Meeting Monday

The caretaker government of Bulgaria will hold a session on Monday, its press office says.

The development will come just a few days after the interim cabinet was sworn in.

Croatia Parliament Votes in Plenkovic's New Govt

A new centre-right coalition government in Croatia under Andrej Plenkovic, president of the leading Croatian Democratic Union, HDZ, was voted in by the country's parliament on Wednesday.

The coalition government of the HDZ, the centre-right Bridge of the Independent Lists, MOST, and all eight national minority MPs gathered the support of 91 of the 151 MPs in parliament.
