Cyprus GDP decline narrows in fourth quarter
Cyprus?s GDP contracted by 0.6 percent in the fourth quarter of 2014, compared with 0.9 percent in the previous three months, beating a flash estimate made last month, official figures showed on Wednesday.
As a result, the economy suffered its 14th successive quarterly contraction, according to figures from the state statistical service.

The Cypriot economy contracted 0.3 percent in the third quarter, a slight improvement on a 0.4 percent dip in the previous three months, the state statistical service said on Tuesday.
This was the 13th successive negative quarter for the Mediterranean island countrys battered economy, according to a revised estimate, which had put the July-September contraction at 0.4 percent.

Tourism takes edge off Cyprus recession
Buoyed by tourism income, Cypruss recession-hit economy contracted by a slower 0.3 percent in the second quarter, down from the 0.6 percent drop in the previous three months, official figures showed on Wednesday.
Although it was the 12th successive negative quarter for the Mediterranean islands battered economy, the figures were unchanged from a flash estimate issued on August 14.
