Compared with the previous month, the average gross wage increased by 6.2 percent in nominal terms and by 5 percent in real terms, the Statistical Office of Serbia (RZZS) has announced.

The average net wage meanwhile increased by 6.7 percent in nominal terms, and by 5.5 percent in real terms.

The unemployment rate in Serbia in the second quarter of 2015 amounted to 17.9 percent, dropping by 1.3 percentage points when compared to the previous quarter.

Average Serbian monthly salary in March EUR 375

BELGRADE -- Average net salary paid in Serbia in March amounted to RSD 43,452 (EUR 375) - down by 1.4 percent in nominal and 1.1 percent in real terms compared to February.

This was announced on Friday by the Statistical Office of Serbia.
