Supreme Cassation Court

All three complaints filed at the last possible moment against the registration of Yes, Bulgaria which prevented the independent participation of the party in the upcoming snap elections have been withdrawn, reported Dnevnik daily.

The Supreme Cassation Court has rejected finally the registration of Normalna Darzhava (Normal State) of former BSP member Georgi Kadiev.

The Supreme Cassation Court will rule on the case against former Deputy Chairman of DPS and Parliament Hristo Biserov within the deadline stipulated by law. By law, the deadline for a ruling is one month but it is merely instructive and not mandatory.

The Prosecutor's Office has protested the acquittal of former Deputy Chairman of the 42nd Parliament and of DPS Hristo Biserov, ruled by the Sofia Appellate Court in the beginning of July.

The Appellate Court has to send the documentation to the Supreme Cassation Court together with the prosecutor's office protest so that the chief magistrates can rule on the case.
