President Klaus Iohannis announced that a meeting of the Supreme Council for National Defense (CSAT) will be convened next week to discuss the situation in the Black Sea area. "I will call a CSAT meeting next week dedicated specifically to this tense Black Sea area and the troop build-up on Ukraine's eastern border.

CSAT approves 2021 budget proposals for defense and security institutions

The Supreme Council for National Defense (CSAT) approved, on Friday, the budget proposals for 2021 for the institutions with duties in the field of defense and national security. The CSAT meeting, chaired by President Klaus Iohannis, took place in a special video-conferencing system.
