The Toronto Raptors stayed alive, the Utah Jazz and Minnesota Timberwolves pulled level, and the Boston Celtics pushed the Brooklyn Nets to the brink of elimination in the NBA playoffs on April 23.
Jayson Tatum scored 39 points to lead the Celtics in a 109-103 victory over the Nets in Brooklyn that pushed their lead in the NBA Eastern Conference first-round series to 3-0.

NBA player Goran Dragić signs with Brooklyn Nets
New York – Goran Dragić, widely regarded as one of Slovenia’s best basketball players ever, has signed a new contract until the end of this season and will move to the Brooklyn Nets, said the BDA Sports International management agency. At the age of 35, this will be Dragić’s fifth team in the NBA.

Ljubljana – Slovenian NBA star Luka Dončić is to sign a five-year, $202 million contract extension with the Dallas Mavericks after the Tokyo Olympic Games, a number of US media have reported. Meanwhile, another Slovenian NBA player Goran Dragić is moving from the Miami Heat to the Toronto Raptors, but might be even re-routed to the Mavericks in the final move.

Giannis and the Bucks bow out after a great season
Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 21 points for the Milwaukee Bucks, but that was not enough to stop the Toronto Raptors from winning Game 6 of the Eastern Conference finals with a 100-94 score and advance to the NBA finals.
The Bucks had led 2-0 in the series but the Raptors bounced back to win the series 4-2 and win the conference finals for the first time in their history.
