BELGRADE - The 10th Rakija Fest, under the title of "Balkan Urban Experience", will be held at Belgrade's Mixer House on December 3.

Visitors will get warmed by rakija, many Serbian delicacies, as well as specialty sweets, the Tourism Organization of Belgrade said in a statement.

The 10th Rakija Fest will be held at Belgrade's Mikser House venue on December 3, under the title, "Balkan Urban Experience."

The Tourism Organization of Belgrade said that visitors will "get warmed" by rakija (Serbian for fruit, most commonly plum brandy) as well as "many Serbian delicacies, and specialty sweets."

BELGRADE - The Tourism Organization of Belgrade, supported by the Tourism Organization of Serbia, will take part in an international tourism fair in Shanghai, China - International Travel Mart - on November 11-13.

PRAGUE - The number of Czech tourists who have visited Belgrade rose only 3 to 4 pct in eight months, which is why the Tourism Organization of Belgrade presented the potential of the Serbian capital to this market for the first time in ten years.

A total of 196,799 tourists visited Belgrade in the first four months of 2015 - a ten-percent increase, the Tourism Organization of Belgrade said on Thursday.

In the same period, 392,129 overnight stays were registered in the capital - a 12-percent increase compared to the same period last year.

BELGRADE - The offer and sights of Belgrade and Serbia will be presented at the tourism fair in Bucharest, the Tourism Organization of Belgrade (TOB) has announced.

The tourism fair "TTR 2015" began on Thursday and will run through March 15.

BELGRADE - Belgrade Days will be held April 16-19 and the organizers have promised a rich and impressive programme.

Secretary of the provisional city authority Goran Vesic pointed out the opening of the old royal residence for the public as one of the most important of the events included in the programme. The 130th anniversary of the completion of the residence will be this month.
