Food couriers step up pressure on platforms
The Trade Union of Food Delivery Couriers staged a two-hour work stoppage on 12 May after delivery companies Wolt and Glovo refused to recognise the union as a social partner or enter talks on a collective bargaining agreement.

Wolt and Glovo couriers form union
A new trade union has been formed to protect the rights and interests of food delivery couriers in Slovenia. It brings together more than 100 couriers working for Wolt and Glovo.
Part of the youth trade union Mladi Plus, the Trade Union of Food Delivery Couriers was formed because of what the two unions describe as poor working conditions and falling wages.

Farmers protest against environmental restrictions
Taking a page out of Dutch farmers' book, several thousand Slovenian farmers took to the streets with their tractors in more than two dozen cities and towns on 24 March in protest at environmental and other restrictions they say are making it near impossible to continue farming.

Firefighters displeased with govt firefighting bill
Ljubljana – A firefighters’ trade union is critical of the government-proposed changes to the fire service act, as it says it was not involved in the drafting of the amendments. Some of the proposals that had already been coordinated with the competent ministry in the past have been dropped from the latest version, the union noted.

Government should protect media workers
Leaders of miners protesting in underground of Paroseni,Uricani mines invited at Victoria Governmental Palace
A delegation made up of representatives of the miners who are protesting on Sunday, for the seventh consecutive day, in the underground of Paroseni and Uricani coal mines in Jiu Valley is expected on Monday morning at the Victoria Governmental Palace and, afterwards, at the Energy Ministry headquarters, in the attempt to find a solution to the miners' demands.
