Digital miniature exhibit opens in Istanbul on Feb 15
A digital miniature exhibition will open at the Marmaray Yenikapı Station in Istanbul on Feb. 15, Turkey's Communications Directorate announced on Feb. 13.
As part of the government's 360 Culture and Arts project, the Miniaturist Osman Surname-i Humayun Digital Miniature Exhibition will be open to the public for free between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. on weekdays, read a statement.
Turkish, German leaders discuss bilateral, EU relations
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and German Chancellor Angela Merkel on Feb. 8 discussed bilateral ties, regional issues, and Turkey-EU relations via video link.
The two leaders also discussed issues that would improve cooperation between the two countries, according to a statement by Turkey's Communications Directorate.
Turkey congratulates new German ruling party head
Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on Jan. 30 congratulated the new leader of Germany's ruling party.
In a phone call, Erdoğan said he believed Armin Laschet, head of the Christian Democratic Union of Germany (CDU), will continue Germany's positive relations with Turkey, according to a statement from Turkey's Communications Directorate.

Turkish president, SpaceX CEO discuss cooperation
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Tesla CEO and SpaceX founder Elon Musk in a phone conversation discussed cooperation in various fields, according to Turkey's Communications Directorate on Jan. 27.
Space technologies was the main topic of discussion on the fields of cooperation between Turkey's public and private sectors and Musk's company, the directorate said.

Turkish president welcomes Lebanese premier
Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan welcomed Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri on Jan. 8 in Istanbul.
Erdoğan and Hariri, who is assigned to form the new government in Lebanon, held a one-on-one meeting at the Vahdettin Palace in Istanbul, according to Turkey's Communications Directorate.

Albanian premier meets President Erdoğan
Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met on Jan. 6 as part of a two-day official visit of the former to Turkey.
The bilateral relations between Turkey and Albania, as well as, steps to improve cooperation, would be discussed during the talks, Turkey's Communications Directorate said on Jan. 5.

Turkish, Algerian presidents discuss ties on phone
Turkey's president and his Algerian counterpart spoke on the phone on Dec. 20, according to Turkey's Communications Directorate.
Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Algeria's Abdelmadjid Tebboune discussed Turkish-Algerian relations as well as regional matters, said a directorate statement.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and German Chancellor Angela Merkel in a video conference on Dec. 19 discussed bilateral ties and Turkey-EU relations.
"Turkey wants to open a new page in relations with the EU," Erdoğan said, according to a statement from Turkey's Communications Directorate.
