Major earthquakes hit Turkey's Çanakkale
An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3 struck the Marmara province of Çanakkale's Ayvacık district at 1:38 p.m. on Feb. 6, Turkey's Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) said in a statement, Doğan News Agency has reported.
The quake's depth was measured at around 9.25 kilometers.
