Turkey's Super League

Turkey's Super League football teams generated total revenue of $727 million in the 2018-2019 season, up from $554 million in 2017-2018, said the league's branded passcard dealer on Nov. 12.

Turkey's Super League generated 731 million euros ($814 million) of revenue in the 2017-2018 season, up from the 701 million euro income the Turkish football clubs made in the 2016-2017 season, according to Deloitte's 28th Annual Review of Football Finance.

Turkey's Super League launched amid tightened security measures as nearly 3,400 supporters have been banned from attending sports games due to previous violent behaviors or participation in violent incidents.

Ankaragücü and Rizespor both secured promotion to Turkey's Super League on April 28 after beating their opponents in the second-tier 1st League.
