Türkiye to continue to support dialogue process in Venezuela, Erdoğan says

Ankara will continue to support the dialogue process in Venezuela, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan told his Venezuelan counterpart Nicolas Maduro on Wednesday.


In a phone call with Maduro, Erdoğan wished that the elections may "lead to auspicious results for Venezuela," according to a statement by the Turkish Communications Directorate.


Erdoğan congratulates Pakistan's new prime minister

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan congratulated Pakistan's new Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in a phone call on April 11. 

According to the Turkish Communications Directorate, Erdoğan called Sharif after he took the oath of office.

Sharif was sworn-in on Monday after former Premier Imran Khan was ousted in a no-confidence vote that he attempted to thwart. 

Turkish, Russian leaders discuss regional issues over phone

The presidents of Turkey and Russia on Oct. 7 held a phone call to discuss bilateral ties and regional issues, according to the Turkish Communications Directorate.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin also exchanged views on regional developments, it added in a statement.
