Talks on minimum wage hike set to start this week
A commission is set to hold its first meeting later this week to discuss a hike in minimum wages for millions of workers.
Representatives from the government, labor union Türk-İş and the Turkish Confederation of Employers' Association (TİSK) will gather on June 13 at the Labor Ministry.

Exports may gain momentum again, says association
With the key elections now over, Türkiye should again focus on production and exports, which may gain momentum in the remainder of the year, Mustafa Gültepe, the head of the Turkish Exporters' Association (TIM) has said.

Turkish automotive exports surge 32 percent amid decline in total exports
Turkish automotive exports surged 32 percent in the first two months of the year, the Automotive Manufacturers' Association said in a statement on March 12.
From January to February 2015, auto exports reached 99,000, according to the statement.
