History Channel, a world-famous television network of the United States, is shooting a documentary about the area believed to be home to the remains of Noah's Ark in Doğubayazıt district of the eastern province of Ağrı.

Efforts are underway to make Pamukkale, where famous actors such as Nicholas Cage shot films, appear more on the big screen and become the promotional face of Turkey.

Discovery Channel, one of the best-known documentary channels in the world, has begun filming documentaries on history in important places of the southeastern province of Şanlıurfa, particularly Göbeklitepe, which is considered the "zero point of history."

The Turkish Film Commission is making efforts to attract the attention of film companies to Cappadocia, which is a natural film set with its historical and cultural riches as well as its interesting geographical beauties.
