The Turkish Industry and Business Association (TÜSİAD), one of the leading business organizations in the country, has raised concerns about freedoms in the country following the arrest of main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) deputy Enis Berberoğlu.

There is a need to restructure the education curriculum by focusing more on science, technology, engineering and math, the chair of the Turkish Industry and Business Association (TÜSİAD) urged on June 13.

Suspicion of irregularities in the April 16 referendum vote have damaged Turkey's election security and reliability, said Turkish Industry and Business Association (TÜSİAD) Chair Erol Bilecik, adding that measures need to be immediately taken to ensure judicial independence and neutrality.

Turkey's top bosses have called for the restoration of national unity and the realization of key structural reforms in the post-referendum process.
