Türkiye expects positive outcome on Eurofighter procurement 'soon'
Turkish National Defense Ministry sources said on Thursday that the country expects a positive outcome soon regarding the procurement of Eurofighter Typhoon fighter jets.
Türkiye, Russia resume joint ground patrols in northern Syria
Türkiye and Russia have resumed their joint ground patrols, which had been suspended since October last year due to security concerns, the Turkish National Defense Ministry announced on Friday.
Prior to the suspension, 344 joint ground patrols had been successfully conducted.
Defense minister meets Ukrainian counterpart in Ankara
Turkish Defense Minister Yaşar Güler on Friday met with his Ukrainian counterpart Rustem Umerov in capital Ankara.
Güler welcomed Umerov with a military ceremony, according to a statement by the Turkish National Defense Ministry.
After the ceremony, Güler and Umerov held a meeting at the ministry building.
Defense Minister in London for security talks
Defense Minister Yaşar Güler was in London for an official visit to hold talks with his British counterpart Grant Shapps on Tuesday, during which they exchanged views on security and defense topics.

Türkiye strikes 29 PKK terrorist targets in northern Iraq, Syria
Turkish warplanes carried out airstrikes on PKK sites in northern Iraq and Syria early Saturday and destroyed 29 PKK terror targets, the Turkish National Defense Ministry said.
Erdoğan holds security meeting in Istanbul
A security meeting with top Turkish officials chaired by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on Saturday has ended, the Communications Directorate said in a statement posted on X.
The meeting came after nine Turkish soldiers were killed in a PKK terror attack in northern Iraq.

Three more ships have left Ukrainian ports under the Istanbul grain export deal, the Turkish National Defense Ministry said on Aug. 27.
Shipments from Ukrainian ports are continuing, said ministry a statement, adding: "Three more ships loaded with grain departed from Ukrainian ports this morning."

Two more grain ships leave Ukraine: Türkiye
Two more ships have left Ukrainian ports under the Istanbul grain export deal, the Turkish National Defense Ministry said on Aug. 22.
"The shipment of grain at Ukrainian ports continues as planned under the control of the Joint Coordination Center," the ministry said in its statement.
