Some 11 PKK terrorists neutralized in N Iraq

A total of 11 PKK terrorists have been neutralized in northern Iraq, the Turkish Defense Ministry and the Turkish National Intelligence Organization (MİT) have announced.

The ministry said that five PKK terrorists were neutralized by the Turkish army in the regions of Claw-Lock and Claw-Tiger operations in northern Iraq.

Arrested Greek spy confesses activity in Türkiye: CNN Türk

Mohammed Amar Ampara, arrested on June 26 with a charge of "working for Greek intelligence service EYP," has confessed all his espionage activities inside Türkiye in his testimony, Turkish private national broadcaster CNN Türk has alleged.

According to the TV station, the Greek spy gave all information of his three contacts in the EYP to Turkish officers.

Two PKK local leaders neutralized

Security units have neutralized two female PKK local leaders, Şükran Alp inside the country and Delal Azizoğlu in northern Iraq.

"In an operation in [the southeastern province of] Siirt, two terrorists were neutralized on June 17. One of them was Alp, codenamed 'Arin,'" the Interior Ministry reported on June 24.

MİT neutralizes PKK ringleader in northern Iraq

Turkish National Intelligence Organization (MİT) has neutralized an alleged high-ranking PKK terrorist in the northern Iraq city of Sulaymaniyah, Demirören News Agency has reported.

"Mehmet Doğan, codenamed 'Dılhaz Gabar,' was neutralized in an operation conducted by MİT in the Cemcemal neighborhood of Sulaymaniyah," the agency reported on June 2.
