Turkey?s industrial production rose by 3.8 percent in April 2015 from the same month the previous year, according to data revealed by the Turkish Statistics Agency (TÜ?K) on June 8. 

The index remained the same in April compared with March, with a reading of 124.8. 

Durable consumer goods saw the largest increase from the previous month, up 1.9 percent in April.

Turkish annual inflation edged above 8 percent for the first time this May, data from the Turkish Statistics Agency (TÜ?K) showed on June 3. 

The annual rate of inflation rose to 8.1 percent in May from 7.9 percent the previous month, while annual inflation on a twelve month moving average basis rose to 8.45 percent over the same period, according to TÜ?K data.
