New company launches grow in February
A total of 9,856 new companies were established in Turkey in February, up 7.7% on an annual basis, the country's top trade body said on March 19.
Some 769 companies went out of business last month, down 6.7% year-on-year, according to data released by the Turkish Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges.

The number of newly established companies in Turkey soared by 47.46 percent year-on-year to reach 6,593 in August, the Turkish Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges (TOBB) said in a report released on Sept. 18.
A total of 1,218 companies went out of business last month, which saw an increase of 105.4 percent compared to August 2016, according to the report.

Number of Turkish startups up 8.5 pct in June: Association
The number of newly established companies in Turkey rose by 8.5 percent year-on-year to reach 5,952 in June, the Turkish Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges (TOBB) revealed on July 21.
According to the union, 1,016 companies went out of business that month this year, which saw an increase of 29.3 percent compared to June 2016.

Some 174, or 28.8 percent, of foreign-partnered companies were founded directly by Syrian people or Syrian nationals in partnerships.
