Red Star to face Jagiellonia or Bodo/Glimt in Champions League play-offs

NYON - Serbian football champions Red Star Belgrade were on Monday drawn to play the winner of the tie between Jagiellonia Bialystok (Poland) and Bodo/Glimt (Norway) in the UEFA Champions League playoffs later this month.

Red Star will host the second leg in Belgrade on August 27 or 28, with the first leg scheduled for August 20 or 21.

Partizan suffer another rout to Dynamo Kyiv

BELGRADE - Serbian football club Partizan Belgrade suffered another rout to Ukrainian side Dynamo Kyiv, losing 3-0 at home in the return leg of the two teams' UEFA Champions League second qualifying round tie on Wednesday evening.

In the first leg in Lublin, Poland, Dynamo won 6-2, winning 9-2 on aggregate.

Partizan hosted the game before empty stands due to a UEFA ban.

Serbian clubs learn of their potential opponents in UEFA competitions

NYON - Serbian side Partizan Belgrade were on Monday drawn to play Scottish football powerhouse Glasgow Rangers in the UEFA Champions League third qualifying round if they knock out Ukraine's Dynamo Kyiv in the second round.

Dynamo will host the first leg of the tie in Lublin, Poland, on Tuesday and the return leg is scheduled for July 31 in Belgrade.

Serbian football coach Aleksandar Stanojevic signs three-year deal with Partizan Belgrade

BELGRADE - Serbian football coach Aleksandar Stanojevic was officially unveiled as new Partizan Belgrade boss on Thursday after signing a three-year contract with the club.

Stanojevic succeeds Albert Nadj, who took over from Igor Duljaj at the end of last season, securing a UEFA Champions League qualifiers berth for the club.

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met on Wednesday with UAE Executive Affairs Authority Chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak, who is also the owner of the English Premier League club Manchester City FC, and noted that Al Mubarak was a personal friend of his as well as a great friend of Serbia.
