Turkish Court Overrules Twitter Ban

The Ankara administrative court overruled the ban on the social platform Twitter. 

The restriction contradicts the rule of law principles - the court motivated its decision.

The court decision comes a day after the UN urged Turkey to lift the ban on Twitter because the limitation of civil liberties contradicts the international law.

BELGRADE -- Darko Šarić on Monday appeared before the Special Court for Organized Crime in Belgrade for the first time and pleaded not guilty to the charges against him.

"I do not feel guilty on any of the indictments. That is all a lie," he said.

Borchardt: Equality before the law for all people in KiM

PRISTINA - Head of the EULEX Mission in Kosovo-Metohija (KiM) Bernd Borchardt has said that there are no secret indictments in KiM, as the mechanism of secret indictments does not exist in the Kosovo legal system, adding that a democratic society has two basic principles - presumption of innocence and equality before the law.
