Turkey's Minister of Food, Agriculture and Livestock Ahmet Esref Fakibaba said on Thursday increasing trade volume with Bosnia is one of the major goals of his country, Anadolu Agency reports. 

Fakibaba's remarks came during his official visit to Bosnia's capital Sarajevo on Thursday.

One of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's chief presidential advisers has said the best ideas come to her mind when she is washing dishes. 

Speaking at the National Women Entrepreneurship Congress in the eastern province of Bingöl, Özlem Zengin said the "best ideas always come to mind at the hardest times."

The salaries of lawmakers and governors are very low and "people are wrong to think they earn a lot of money," Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) head Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu has claimed. 

"You need to appreciate a job done properly," Hisarcıklıoğlu said at an economic summit in the Black Sea province of Zonguldak on Aug. 10. 

Turkish companies won four of 89 tenders, which were opened by CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research, in the first six months of the year, a leading business organization has announced.

According to a statement by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), the total value of these four contracts was over 300,000 euros.

The last couple of weeks have been quite busy for those closely following the Turkish-Israeli normalization process. The two countries seem to agree on shifting the gears in terms of economic cooperation and cultural exchange to lay a stronger foundation for bilateral ties.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has once again slammed credit rating agencies over their recent downgrading of Turkey's credit rating, in which many cited the upcoming vote on constitutional amendments to shift from a parliamentary system to an executive presidential system.
