Türkiye calls for Israel to be held accountable on World Humanitarian Day
Türkiye marked World Humanitarian Day on Monday with a condemnation of Israel's ongoing offensive in Gaza, which has claimed over 40,000 lives in the last 10 months, emphasizing the need for accountability.
"We pay tribute to those who sacrificially serve in every corner of the world," the Turkish Foreign Ministry stated on X, honoring humanitarian workers.

Over 75,000 Palestinian displaced in southwest Gaza in past few days: UN official
More than 75,000 Palestinians have been displaced in southwest Gaza in the past few days, the head of the U.N. agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA) said on Sunday.
"Over the decades, Palestinian civilians have been caught up in wars and conflicts, far too many times," Philippe Lazzarini, the UNRWA commissioner-general, said on X.

Deadly strike hits Gaza school as heavy battles displace Palestinians
A deadly strike hit a school turned shelter in southern Gaza on Tuesday as Israeli forces in the war-ravaged territory's main city pushed on with a major offensive that has again displaced Palestinians.
A hospital source in Khan Yunis in southern Gaza said at least 29 people were killed when the school was hit in nearby Abasan.
