Deputy Quits Serbian Ruling Party Over Son's Non-Job
Sasa Vukasinovic, a deputy for the Progressive Party in the local assembly of Sabac, in western Serbia, has embarrassed the ruling party by saying he had now left after it failed to offer his son a job.
Vukasinovic, who was formerly a member of another political party, the United Regions of Serbia, URS, switched to the Progressives after the party took power in 2012.
Parties spend over RSD 2 billion on elections
BELGRADE - Parties reported that they spend over RSD 2 billion on the 2014 parliamentary elections and more than 40 percent of the sum (RSD 942 million) was claimed by the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) which won the majority support of the voters, Transparency Serbia released on Friday.

State election commission announces preliminary results
BELGRADE -- According to preliminary results of the Election Commission (RIK) only four coalitions and lists of ethnic minorities will have seats in the new parliament.
These preliminary results were announced during a news conference held at midnight in Belgrade.
