University Children's Hospital in Belgrade

Radojicic is a surgeon and director of the University Children's Hospital in Belgrade, who topped the election list of the ruling SNS in the March election for the City Assembly, and later became the party's candidate for mayor.

67 out of 110 councilors voted on Thursday to elect Radojici, and Goran Vesic, who until now served as city manager, as his deputy.

With campaigning well under way in the lead up to the Belgrade City Assembly election on March 4, political parties are scrambling to attract celebrity candidates and endorsements from stars and public figures in a bid to win over voters.
