Presidential communications director conveys concern to US ambassador over TRT World journalists
Presidential Communications Director Fahrettin Altun has spoken with U.S. Ambassador to Ankara David Satterfield by phone on June 3 to express concern over an incident in which TRT World journalists were injured during protests in the U.S. against the killing of an unarmed black man.
Palestine no longer bound by Israeli, US accords: Abbas
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas said on May 19 that the country is terminating all agreements and understandings signed with Israel and the U.S., including on security.

Israel's prime minister said his government has begun editing West Bank maps to include areas his country plans to annex.
The move comes after U.S. President Donald Trump released a "deal" to end the Israel-Palestine conflict.
Palestinian armed wing calls for attacks on Israel
The armed wing of Gaza-based resistance faction Islamic Jihad called on Palestinians on Feb. 7 to attack Israeli military checkpoints.
"We call for comprehensive and direct conflict as long as the opportunities are available and to embark on the path of fighting and freedom," Abu Hamza, the spokesperson of the al-Quds Brigades, said on Twitter.

12 Israeli soldiers injured in car-ramming attack
At least 12 Israeli soldiers were injured in a car-ramming attack in Western Jerusalem on Feb. 6 morning, Israeli army said.
In a statement, the Israel Defence Forces said a "Palestinian" rammed his car into a group of IDF soldiers in Jerusalem.
