Turkish-American Business Association names new president
Bora Gürçay, the Motorola Turkey country manager responsible for all Motorola Turkey operations, has been named the new president of the Turkish-American Business Association American Chamber of Commerce (TABA/AmCham).
Gürçay, who was elected unanimously in the general board meeting, will hold the position for the next two years, the organization said in a written statement.

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce has decided to open an off Istanbul office in a bid to boost trade and investments between the Turkey and the United States.
The USCC Regional Office â Istanbul, a result of joint efforts between the U.S. body and the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), will open on Nov. 18.
