US trade panel backs probe into welded pipe imports from six countries, including Turkey

The U.S. International Trade Commission on March 5 voted to continue anti-dumping and subsidy investigations into imports of large-diameter welded pipe from Canada, China, Greece, India, South Korea and Turkey, it said in a statement, as reported by Reuters.

Turkey is considering lodging an appeal with the World Trade Organization (WTO) against a U.S. move to slap anti-dumping duties on imports of Turkish steel pipes, an industry group told Reuters.
