Low-cost airline Wizz Air made the scale of its ambitions clear on Wednesday as it announced an order for 146 new Airbus planes, taking its total outstanding orders with the European aerospace company to 282.

Low-cost company Wizz Air, the leading carrier operating from Sofia Airport, has announced as a precedent that all passengers who have bought a ticket to its destination have asked to fly. Yesterday, the company commented in an official statement about the problem involving dozens of passengers who were taken off their plane or not even boarded.

The Hungarian low-cost airline Wizz Air will operate regular flights between the airports in Sofia and Copenhagen starting from June 13.

The company announced its new route on Thursday.

The flights between the Bulgarian and Danish capitals will be carried out three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
