"Genocide resolution" not included in assembly's agenda
The Kosovo assembly has not accepted a proposal to consider a draft resolution on alleged genocide by Yugoslav army and police forces against ethnic Albanians.
45 deputies on Monday voted in favor of including the draft in the agenda, 55 were against, while five abstained.
Nuland On Crisis Visits to Kosovo, Macedonia
On her visit to Kosovo on Sunday, Nuland is expected to try to persuade MPs to back unpopular constitutional changes that will allow for the establishment of a special court to handle war crimes committed by the Kosovo Liberation Army, KLA, in the 199os conflict.
Nuland will meet President Atifete Jahjaga, Prime Minister Isa Mustafa and Foreign Minister Hashim Thaçi.

Pilot Stevan Popov took his own life on Wednesday in Novi Sad, the local website 021.rs is reporting.
The 68-year-old father of four, who for 23 years worked for the former national carrier JAT and for a while held a rank in the former Yugoslav army, JNA, reserves, used a pistol to commit suicide, according to this source.
