Parliament delays recess to address key proposals
The Turkish parliament, initially set to recess on July 1, has extended its working period after the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) proposed a revised calendar.
The legislative body is now expected to go on recess at the end of July following the completion of several key legislative proposals.

AKP appoints new heads for some provinces
The ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) has replaced the heads of its provincial organizations in seven cities a day after a five-hour meeting of its executive committee.
The party on June 25 announced the appointment of new provincial heads for Adıyaman, Afyonkarahisar, Erzincan, Gaziantep, Kastamonu, Osmaniye and Zonguldak.
