Romanian Foreign Affairs Minister Teodor Melescanu on Friday, on the sidelines of the participation in the general debates of the current UN General Assembly session, had meetings with counterparts of Antigua and Barbuda, Commonwealth of Dominica, the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates and the Lao People's Democratic Republic.

Turkish President Tayyip Erdoğan told Bahrain's Foreign Minister that the dispute between Qatar and other Arab states should be resolved by the end of the holy month of Ramadan, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu said on June 10.

Bahrain's foreign minister will pay a visit to Turkey on June 10 as tension between Qatar and prominent Gulf and Arab countries are continuing to escalate. 

Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa will meet with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu and will be received by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the foreign ministry said in a written statement on June 9.
