The Movement for Rights and Freedoms (DPS) remains determined to pursue a second mandate to form a government, as confirmed following a meeting chaired by Delyan Peevski, the party's parliamentary group leader. Notably, representatives loyal to honorary chairman Ahmed Dogan opted not to attend the gathering.

Liberals worldwide are rallying behind Dr. Ahmed Dogan, leader of the Bulgarian Movement for Rights and Freedoms (DPS), with a wave of supportive letters from prominent figures within the liberal movement.

Delyan Peevski, chairman of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (DPS), has called for a complete unification with Ahmed Dogan. Peevski made this statement after meeting with some of the party's regional structures in Sofia, as reported per BNT.

According to unofficial sources, reported by the Bulgarian National Radio (BNR), a meeting is scheduled today between the honorary chairman of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (DPS), Ahmed Dogan, the co-chairman Delyan Peevski, and the deputies who backed the "Zhelyazkov" draft cabinet.

The Movement for Rights and Freedoms (DPS) has removed another member from its parliamentary group amid ongoing internal divisions centered around the "Peevski-Dogan" axis.

Delyan Peevski, leader of Bulgaria's Movement for Rights and Freedoms (DPS), stated on the sidelines of parliament that he intends to honor the will of the people amid political tensions within his party. He emphasized his responsibility solely to the DPS electorate and cited adherence to the party's statutes, which he manages as chairman.

The Movement for Rights and Freedoms (DPS) Honorary Chair Ahmed Dogan raised concerns about the party's evolving nature, warning against it becoming a "corporate partisan organization" driven solely by financial interests. Dogan stressed the importance of preserving traditional democratic values, highlighting a shift across all political forces in this direction.

In a brief meeting, the members of the parliamentary group of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (DPS) decided that Delyan Peevski will now serve as the sole chairman of the DPS Parliamentary Group, a position he previously shared with the resigned chairman, Mustafa Karadayi.

Mustafa Karadayi has resigned as chairman of the DPS (Dvijenie za Prava i Svobodi/Movement for Rights and Freedoms), "24 Chasa" reports, citing unofficial sources from the Movement.

DPS did not comment on the information to BNT, but reported that a party meeting is currently being held.
