Death toll up to 102 in Ankara train station attack as victim succumbs to wounds after 20 months
Mustafa Budak has become the 102nd victim of the Ankara train station attack undertaken by the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) on Oct. 10, 2015, after losing his life on June 25 following 20 months of treatment at hospital.
Budak's death was announced by the 10 October Solidarity Foundation ("10 Ekim Dayanışması"), a civil initiative formed in the wake of the attack.
HDP condemns killing of AKP politicians
The co-chairs of the opposition Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) have condemned the killing of local politicians from the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) in Southeast Anatolia.
The leaders of the HDP, Selahattin Demirtaş and Figen Yüksekdağ, said there can be "no legitimate reason" for the assassinations.

PKK kills local AKP politician in Turkey's Diyarbakır
A ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) politician was killed by outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) militants in the Dicle district of the southeastern province of Diyarbakır on Oct. 11, marking the second such homicide by the organization in two days.
PKK militants opened fire on Deryan Aktert, the party's district chairman in Dicle, while he was at his workplace.

Five detained after family shootout leaves four dead in southeastern Turkey
Four people have been detained as part of an investigation into a shootout between two families, which left four people dead and 27 others injured in the southeastern province of Mardin on July 3.
A group of people reportedly fired at another group who were heading to mosque in the Ãmerli district of Mardin.
